HALO celebrates the Hispanic and Latino cultures represented at our school. It fosters a sense of community and promotes cultural awareness. It provides leadership opportunities, personal growth, and academic success as well as opportunities for collaboration, advocacy, and service. It empowers students to embrace their heritage, support one another, and contribute positively to the school and wider community. The club includes a wide range of Hispanic cultures. Senior Evan Jackson states that he is “very excited to be a part of this club, the diversity is unmatched!”.
HALO has participated in both pep rallys this year. Senior Jayonna Collins says that this has been her favorite part of the club. “Its like very welcoming and it’s fun to learn to do new things like the dancing”, Collins said.
